Most patients adapt to their new hearing aids within two to four weeks of consistent daily wear, though full neural acclimatization can take up to three months. From there we decide whether more follow-ups are needed before moving to routine maintenance visits, which include cleaning, performance re-verification with Live Speech Mapping, and minor in-office repairs.
